Application procedures for High School Students

Please review the College Application Guide found on this page, before completing the Application Form.

1) Review the admission requirements to the certificate or degree you are applying to.

2) Send us your high school transcript.

a. Currently in high school
Please send a copy of your report card from the current semester.
Ask your high school to send us your interim transcript. After you graduate, we'll ask you to send an official copy of your final transcript.

b. Already finished high school
Ask your high school to send us an official copy of your final high school transcript.

Note: Transcripts are considered official if they are sealed and sent directly from your high school.

3) If you are interested in applying for Residence, please complete the Residence Application Form found on this page and submit the application with your deposit fee. Please note that Residence is based on a first-come, first-serve basis with preference given to full-time students (12 or more credit hours per semester). After July 1, consideration will be given to applications from part-time students.

Application procedures for Transfer Students

If you would like a transcript assessment completed to determine transfer credits, please fill out the Transfer Credit Assessment Form found on this page.

Application procedures for Home Schooled Students

2) Complete the Canadian Adult Achievement Test (CAAT). Please contact the Registrar’s Office about the CAAT as it is available at Heritage and many local Colleges.

Application procedures for Mature Students

1) Please review application requirements for Mature Students to determine if you are required to write the Canadian Adult Achievement Test (CAAT).

2) If you are required to complete the Canadian Adult Achievement Test (CAAT), please contact the Registrar’s Office as it is available at Heritage and many local Colleges.

Application procedures for Return to Studies Students

To resume studies, a student should request permission from the This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it via a Return to Studies form.

A student who has not taken courses for 5 terms (1.5 years) is required to submit a completed Return to Studies form and may be required to submit a pastoral reference. A student who has not taken courses for two years (24 months) must submit the following:

• Completed Return to Studies Form
• One pastoral reference.
• An additional reference (If required)

If the degree or certificate program the student was registered in before the student withdrew from studies has not changed in requirements, the student may re-enter and continue in the program. If the program requirements have changed, the student will be required to meet the new requirements. If the program has been discontinued, the student will be given the opportunity to choose a new program.

Discontinued Programs

Heritage is constantly re-evaluating programs to ensure that they adequately prepare students for effective ministry within churches, parachurch organizations, and our constantly changing society. As a result, some programs may be discontinued and more effective programs introduced. Students entering programs will be allowed to complete the program within the prescribed timeframe for the program. For example, a student entering a four-year program that is discontinued will have four years to complete the program. After that time has elapsed, students will be asked to choose a new program. While some substitutions of course requirements may be possible, Heritage does not guarantee that all previously taken courses will transfer when a student changes programs.
