Heritage Scholarships & Bursaries The following Heritage Seminary scholarships are awarded each year. The monetary amounts listed are the expected scholarship values for the upcoming school year. However, Heritage reserves the right to adjust these amounts as necessary. Scholarship application forms are provided to all applicants upon the completion of their application to Heritage. Please note that an application deadline of July 31st applies to many scholarships. Application forms are available on this page under forms. Applications are available at the Registrar’s Office. Bursaries are normally awarded in the second year of a degree program. Types of Assistance Loans - Canada-Ontario Integrated Student Loan (interest-free while a student is attending post-secondary school full time) Grants • Canada Student Grant for Persons from Low-Income Families • Canada Student Grant for Persons from Middle Income Families • Canada Student Grant for Persons with Dependants • Ontario Access Grant • Ontario Access Grant for Crown Wards Veteran’s Assistance Heritage students have been approved by the U.S. Veteran’s Assistance for the payment of benefits. Students should apply early as the student’s program must be evaluated by the Veteran’s Administration. Workplace Safety & Insurance Board Heritage has qualified in certain cases as a retraining program under WSIB. An individual considering obtaining funding assistance through WSIB should speak with his or her WSIB Counsellor. First Nations Heritage, being a degree-granting institution, is recognized by the First Nations as an institution of post-secondary education. Qualifying students may be eligible for funding assistance from their band council. |
